Our guest Insider this week is Kinsey Zeller Greenfield, a Brand Strategist at Twitter, based in New York City.

Earlier in the week I had the privilege of representing TIG at the TIDAL X: Brooklyn benefit concert for hurricane relief at the Barclays Center. Head Monster Noel Lee, via Monster Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm, is contributing significantly with direct financial donations as well as a very special and significant product donation. One thousand of Monster’s Blaster Boomboxes will be autographed by the performing artists and auctioned to raise additional funds for disaster relief.

I mainly hung out in the Artist Green Room/Monster Lounge where Noel was chatting up the performers, posing for photos and having them sign their special speaker that was later auctioned off to raise money for the hurricane disaster areas. The goody bags and open bar were busy all evening with famous names and faces such as Jadakiss and Fat Joe stopping by.

The lineup was incredible! Hosted by Angie Martinez, with special appearances by Rosie Perez and Lin-Manual Miranda. The performing artists included Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Stevie Wonder, DJ Khaled Kaskade, Chris Brown, Cardi B, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Daddy Yankee, Yo Gotti, A$ap Ferg, Vic Mensa, Fifth Harmony, Joey Bada$$, Willow Smith, Belly and Iggy Azalea.

It was a fun evening and I’m glad to have been a part of it. Since 2015, TIDAL X benefit concerts have raised over 3 million dollars. This year’s benefit will raise awareness and funds for organizations that supply relief and recovery for those affected by the recent unprecedented natural disasters. Some of the organizations include Global Caring, All Hands Volunteers, Kids in Need Foundation, Direct Relief, and the Greater Houston and Miami Community Foundations.

Be good by doing good. It shows you care.
