Women in Consumer Technology could not be more proud of our collaboration with Women in Cable Telecommunications’ Washington, D.C./Baltimore chapter, AVIXA, and Women in Entertainment, to create our inaugural “Your Voice Matters” event that took place at the U.S. Capitol on Oct. 8. It was created with the mission to empower women at all levels in our professional industries to speak up and convey confidence to matters impacting their life, career and personal relationships.
The sessions and keynote speakers recruited by each organization were amazing! The day was filled with inspired stories, strategies, and tools that encouraged attendees to think bigger and bolder by following the journey toward recognizing the power of their voice.
The journey starts with Your Inner Voice, the State of You and transitions to Your Voice Matters to Create Inclusion and Diversity in the Workplace, Your Voice Matters on Legislative Issues, How Your Voice Matters in the Marketplace and The Impact of Your Voice on Popular Culture.
