How to Change with Grace

Many people believe change is HARD. What if we changed that belief? What if we choose to believe change can be soft? What if, instead of facing change with gritted teeth, we face it with grace?

Words matter. Every one of them.

We are in the midst of unprecedented global change. We have a choice. We can face it or fight it. We can focus on how the world currently is or we can figure out how it can be.

Joan Rivers said, “Listen. I wish I could tell you it gets better. It doesn’t get better. You get better.”

The quotes below can help us re-think our default beliefs about change. They can help us stop waiting for things to get better – and start taking responsibility for making them better. You might want to select a favorite and post it so it’s in-sight, in-mind, and stays top-of-mind. When faced with a change that’s unfair, undeserved and unwanted, re-read your quote to remind yourself of who you want to be and how you want to show up.
