I recently sat down with Angela Speziale, Marketing Director of the Florida Audio EXPO Coming to Tampa in February.
Maureen Jenson: Hey Angela, good to talk to you…please tell our readers about what is taking place in Tampa?
Angela Speziale: Sure Maureen, we are very excited! The Florida Audio EXPO is happening Friday–Sunday, February 7–9, 2020, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore.
MJ: How has the event grown from last year?
AS: We have 60+ exhibit rooms, and an explosive increase of 40 percent with new product categories. We’ve enjoyed strong support from the industry press and all of our exhibitor space has sold out!

MJ: Congratulations, what do you attribute this growth to in only one year?
AS: We believe we have created a recipe for success with our EXPO—the right mix of beautiful weather and incredible sounds from fantastic brands from all over the world. The Florida Audio EXPO is a great start to the audio-show season.
We are also convenient driving distance to Tampa International Airport. The Embassy Suites Hotel is close to such local attractions as Busch Gardens, and just an hour’s drive from Walt Disney World.
MJ: Who are some of the big attractions for attendees?
AS: We are proud to welcome back many returning exhibitors, but also thrilled to welcome new brands, including leading headphone manufacturers and several international audio brands. We are excited to herald the USA Premiere of AudioSolutions Virtuoso S Loudspeakers and Legacy’s New i-V Amplifiers.

MJ: Is there an entrance fee to attendees for the show?
AS: There is no cost to attend the show; however, attendees are encouraged to register in advance so that we can ensure that the EXPO doesn’t exceed the hotel’s maximum daily capacity. See registration link here.
