I realize that many companies have pulled out of this year’s CEDIA Expo, citing the Delta variant and the unknowns of traveling at this time. That being said, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Women in Consumer Technology annual luncheon is still on for Thursday, September 2 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. We will have social distanced seating and encourage those who have been vaccinated to attend with confidence. The show’s producer, Emerald Events, is taking every precaution as far as CDC guidelines, as well as Indiana and Indianapolis medical advisories, for the show at large. Indianapolis is in a good place right now, with high vaccination rates and relatively low infection rates based on population density.
